| Harney Woodworking’s Quality Policy states: |
“ To provide cabinetry and millwork that meets
or exceeds our customers’ expectations, on time and
error free.”
This philosophy, Charlie’s drive, and the skill and determination of his
employees is what keeps Harney Woodworking growing. |
|
In 1978, at the age of twenty-one, with $100 and
a lot of determination, Charles T. Cole opened Harney Woodworking.
With only himself and a helper, they produced high-end cabinetry
for the Baltimore, Maryland market area, getting most of their
work from references from satisfied customers.
For over ten years, Charlie manufactured his products in a
small, two story, frame building. After outgrowing the “old
shop”, Charlie was able to build a new, 13,000 sq.ft.,
facility to meet the needs of his growing customer base. That
was in 1989.
Through the ‘90’s, Harney Woodworking doubled
in size, and expanded into the international market, shipping
his millwork to Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
This growth is in direct proportion to Charlie’s determination
and dedication to his customers.
Today, with over 45,000 sq.ft., of manufacturing space, Harney
Woodworking is prepared to accept the challenges of the new
century, using old work craftsmanship and ethics.
